Time and again, over the 15 years of being a journalist, people would often end our interviews with, “you made me feel so at ease,” simply because I gave them some practical pointers ahead of time. I wish I could say a person feels this way after talking to ALL reporters but I can’t. Heck, there are some who don’t want you to feel at ease… in fact they want just the opposite.
I was a part of two of the most dominant television stations in the country; WSAZ NewsChannel3 in Huntington, West Virginia and 9NEWS KUSA in Denver, Colorado. Working, as an anchor, reporter and producer, for two powerhouse stations gave me the opportunity to be a part of some really big stories and interview many people along the way. I work with clients giving them practical advice so you can be confident and put your best foot forward on camera.
