Get to Know: Belen De Leon from 9NEWS

All September long, 9NEWS meteorologist, Belen De Leon, is helping the Colorado celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month—and we thought it’s the perfect time to feature her!

Belen is someone who we personally admire—and one 9NEWS personality that has grown to be loved by many viewers across Colorado in a few short years.

Who is Belen? She’s a wife. A mother of three boys. A gorgeous singer. A fantastic on-air meteorologist. But what else is there to this amazing local TV personality?

Okay, okay. She’s being a little modest with those facts—since she failed to mention one little tidbit about her past that we absolutely love. Belen and her band (that she joined right out of high school) received a gold album for record number of sales and TWO Latin Billboard Awards. So, yeah. She’s literally a rockstar.
