![]() Yes, we know. The staffers at Facebook never stop. They’re constantly adding new features, updates and redesigns. It can get annoying if you just figured out how to use their new layout and then WHAMMO! they change it up on you again. This time, however, they’ve made some recent changes that have us excited. We’re going to talk about two items specifically: 1] the new Facebook “Business Manager” tool and 2] the new camera and video option that is now offered with the Facebook Messenger app. ![]() You can view more information on the Facebook Business Manager Tool –but we’ll summarize it real fast. The new tool will let you oversee your business page with everything in one place. You can manage all your Facebook pages, apps and ad accounts and – this is a big one – give user’s access without having to share your login details. It’s easier to grow your business page and engagement since it’s faster to maintain. It won’t jam up the time it takes you currently to manage your pages, apps and advertising accounts. Mashable.com put it like this: The new Business Manager will let agencies and clients securely share campaign materials—it will also let marketers add and delete ad accounts connected to a company and revoke permissions to people using the accounts. The end result? A better, easier and faster way of managing your business page, ads and users. You can visit the Facebook Business Manager Page and request your page use the tool—but you have to submit your e-mail and wait for a Facebook rep to reach out to you. How long it will take for that step? No one knows but Facebook. ![]() Okay, moving on--If you don’t have the Facebook Messenger app downloaded on your mobile device, iPad and/or tablet, we suggest you do so now. Facebook Messenger is an instant messaging service and application that provide text and voice communication—which is integrated within Facebook’s chat tool. In a nutshell: It lets users chat with friends on mobile and on the main website. Pretty cool. Bonus for selfie lovers: Facebook recently launched an update to Facebook Messenger which includes in-app camera, video and sharing feature to the tool. Hoooooray! So you can now take a photo directly in the app (instead of –gasp- having to take a photo and then uploading it to the app. Hello, time suck.) There is now a camera icon above the keyboard. Just click it to take a photo (or forward facing for a selfie) and then hit send to your friend. Learn more about the new feature and other messaging tools via Mashable.
